WHAT WE’RE DOING
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) portfolio for a Systems Engineer supporting the F-35 program. On our development Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
THE WORK
As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
• Perform under general supervision to complete milestones associated
with specific projects:
• Support risk assessments and risk mitigation
plans, including balancing technical risks
between systems.
• Manage key aspects of the technical
implementation of the program, by collaborating
across a number of disciplines to ensure that
technical parameters, interfaces, and
assumptions are consistent across disciplines,
and interfacing with stakeholders (e.g.,
engineering, technical staff, client) to ensure
program goals are met.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration
opportunities to ensure best practices and
domain knowledge are shared.
• Perform hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Support and provide guidance on operations
and maintenance, including definition and
communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities.
• Work continuously and cross-functionally to
analyze, test and iterate technical requirements,
user stories and operations concepts.
•Provide technical direction and clarification of
requirements within the DevSecOps team.
•May support and lead engineering proposal efforts.
•May require increased on-site presence in secondary LM location in support of classified program activities.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Systems, or other related field
• Experience developing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures, preferably using MBSE tools and techniques
• Experience performing systems integration

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
