Standard Job Description
As a Systems Engineer Manager within the Air System Analysis & Verification (ASA&V) organization, you will be responsible for leading a mixed team of systems engineers, software engineers, and other roles. You will be responsible for managing talent, growing the team to support business needs, while performing technical or programatic leadership tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing dual roles as functional leader of a group of engineers and as an experienced engineer leading a project or performing technical tasks supporting the ASA&V organization.
- Managing talent, including staffing planning, knowledge sharing, career development, performance reviews, training, and recruiting.
- Building relationships with team members, direct reports, and stakeholders.
- Supporting development of tools supporting F-35 data analysis activities.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (such as Aeronautical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics) or equivalent experience and combined education that demonstrates a strong foundation in technical principles and practices.
- Team leadership experience.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process.
- Experience with the Agile process (scrum master, product owner, and/or Jira).
- Software development experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
- Experience mentoring other team members.
- Experience developing software using Python.
- Formal leadership experience.
- Experience performing and/or leading data analysis activities.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
