You will be the Business Development Analyst Senior Staff for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for capturing new business, maintaining sold accounts, and growing the Close Combat Systems Line of Business.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Business Development Analyst Senior Staff you will be responsible for shaping growth strategies and leading capture efforts across priority countries.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead international business development initiatives to capture new opportunities for the Close Combat Systems line.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for existing and new customers.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers and industry partners.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration across MFC and the broader corporation.
  • Lead the capture excellence process for priority countries.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Track record of successful shaping and winning new business 
  • Business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, reliability and sound judgment, strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • International business experience with knowledge of cultures and customs
  • Business development and/or operational experience. 
  • Knowledge of potential customers and demonstrated customer relations skills.
  • Operational and/or strategic experience on close combat systems (HELLFIRE/JAGM Missiles), including integration/interoperability and logistics/sustainment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and proven success leading captures and keep sold opportunities
  • Understanding of the Department of War budgeting and acquisition processes and ability to relate them to the Foreign Military Sales program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Deal closer – highly effective at bringing captures, tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion
  • Ability to understand and interpret international customers' capability gaps, needs, desires, and requirements

Desired Skills

  • Sales and/or recruiting experience
  • Track record of successful shaping and winning new business in the defense sector
  • Establish customer intimacy among U.S. Government, international customers and end-users. 
  • Experience in business planning with strategic goals and identifying opportunities as part of the business development planning process to achieve established business area growth goals

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
