Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire control is seeking a mid-career Circuit Design Engineer who will be supporting hardware and software integration for the PrSM missile. The candidate will be involved in electronics design, integration and test to support missile flight testing. The candidate must have knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, radio frequency circuit designs and operation. This position requires some travel to test sites within Continental United States (CONUS). Travel time can be expected to be up to 10% per year, however this number can increase or decrease based on the needs of the job.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide engineering evaluations of designs or upgrades to the missile to support successful system and flight test operations
- Support PrSM Missile Telemetry and Flight Termination System (FTS) design and integration relative to the processing, testing and troubleshooting of flight hardware
- Writing and executing test plans and test reports
- Support failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing
- Travel to and support flight test events
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Familiar with Data analysis and System Integration methodology
- Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Able to read wiring schematics and hardware drawings
- Must be able to attain a SECRET level security clearance
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer engineering
- Familiar with Telemetry and/or Flight Termination Systems (FTS)
- Working knowledge with electrical design tools such as Zuken and Xpedition PCB
- Experience troubleshooting analog and digital electronics
- Familiar with uncommon lab equipment: milliohm meter, igniter tester, spectrum analyzers
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00
