Responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.
You will be the Logistics Support Engineer – PAC 3 Launcher Repair & Return for the Logistics & Sustainment Engineering (LSE) team. Our crew drives the sustainment of PAC 3 launchers at the Grand Prairie, TX facility, handling everything from material movement to international shipments so the program stays on schedule and customers receive what they need, when they need it.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Logistics Support Engineer you will be the linchpin that keeps parts flowing, repairs tracking, and shipments on time. Working side by side with contract admins, production control, material managers and dozens of functional partners, you’ll own the end to end logistics picture for repair, return and overhaul activities, and you’ll continually push Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) toward program targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate supply related services, hardware movements, and both domestic and international shipments for PAC 3 assets.
• Serve as the primary liaison between program points of contact and cross functional teams, delivering clear, timely status updates.
• Partner with contract administrators, production control, and material management groups to ensure orders are processed and delivered on schedule.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors to provide seamless Contractor Logistic Support (CLS).
• Maintain full accountability and traceability for every repair, induction, and shipment, keeping status data accurate and current.
• Monitor repair action sources, identify bottlenecks, and initiate corrective actions that shrink RTAT and meet program requirements.
Basic Qualifications
• Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize, lead, and manage tasks to completion
• Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment under general guidance
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Ability to pull and interpret data, derive trends, and develop reports
• Formal presentation skills; ability to produce presentation materials appropriate to the audience
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool experience (SAP and Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO))
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
This position requires on-site, full-time presence at our Grand Prairie, TX facility. The selected candidate will be expected to work on-site, Monday through Thursday, during regular business hours, with occasional overtime as needed.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
