You will be the Machine Repair Mechanic for the Machine Repair Team. Our team is responsible for keeping complex factory equipment operating at peak performance.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Machine Repair Mechanic you will be responsible for troubleshooting, overhauling, and repairing a wide variety of hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and electronically‑controlled machine tools and supporting systems.
Your responsibilities will include:Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum‑type equipment, including machine tools, elevators, and compressors.Layout, machine, and restore parts to original tolerances; grind ways and install auxiliary equipment such as coolant pumps and lubricating systems.Set up and operate precision measuring instruments, including optical tooling, to verify repairs and modifications.Instruct and mentor one or two mechanics on assigned jobs, providing clear guidance and training as needed.Maintain a clean, orderly work area and promptly report any unusual conditions to the lead or supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Two (2) to three (3) years' experience on CNC machines.
