Standard Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior supporting Advanced Programs. Our team is responsible for improving the producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes for various Advanced Programs as they transition to the Line of Business (LOB) for low-rate initial production.
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a team focused on ensuring designs are producible and cost competitive. You will evaluate designs, develop manufacturing readiness assessments, and create proposals to meet customer needs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluating designs and providing manufacturing feedback
- Developing manufacturing readiness assessment and proposals
- Assess make/buy determinations
- Presenting program status information to customers and stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Production Operations, Program Management, Engineering and Technology stakeholders, etc.
- Supporting fabrication of early development builds and presenting at design and manufacturing reviews
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineer, or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Experience with Manufacturing / Assembly / Production processes
- Shop floor Manufacturing Engineer experience
- Ability to travel domestic and/or international
Desired Skills
- Experience with the design and manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems
- Experience with electromechanical assembly, manufacturing tooling design, factory design, and factory flow
- Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership
- Statement of work and proposal development experience
- Experience with Make-Buy generation and strategy
- Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) knowledge/experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
