Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Staff for a position in Grand Prairie, TX for the PrSM INC-2 Missile Development & Rapid Fielding Manufacturing Engineering team. The position will support all aspects of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) development, production, and rate acceleration efforts. This role will interact with Program Managers, IPT Leads, Chief Engineers, Suppliers, and the Customer as well as various levels of functional leaders to ensure program objectives are being met and brief them on risks to those objectives. Experience building positive relationships; communicating across functional and physical boundaries; improving cost, schedule, quality, and safety; and manufacturing is a must.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors or higher degree in an engineering discipline
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Ability to mentor early career team mates
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with the customer
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
- Manufacturing background
- Ability to travel domestic and/or international
Desired Skills
- SAP and MS Office
- Cost / Schedule / Budget Responsibility
- Ability to perform trade studies and present results to leadership
- Experience working with Government customers
- Experience working with suppliers
- Experience with Production Line Validation (PLV) process
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
- Experience with MPM Link BOM Planning
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
