Standard Job Description

You will be the Manufacturing Planner (Hardware Rep, Level 2) for the Tooling Operations Team. Our team is responsible for coordinating inter‑departmental tooling fabrication activities. Provide shop floor support throughout entire tool life cycle, helping prioritize tools as needed to maintain and/or accelerate schedule. Maintaining status of all tools and leading meetings with stakeholders to communicate roadblocks and priorities.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage tooling projects as they move through the fabrication shop.
  • Track and control dozens of tools across multiple programs, ensuring schedule adherence.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between programs and the shop, confirming delivery dates and providing regular status updates.
  • Partner with shop supervisors, frontline personnel, and the tool‑planning, design, and MRP teams to resolve issues that arise in the fabrication process.
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous‑improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on influencing cross‑functional teams
  • Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing 

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Experience with material requirements and Shop/Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
  • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
  • Greenbelt / blackbelt trained / certified
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Apriso) and PLM tools (Windchill)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
