You will be the Manufacturing Painter B for the Manufacturing Coatings Team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality protective finishes for aerospace components.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Painter B you will be responsible for applying protective coatings, operating paint equipment, and ensuring precision in finish work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Apply various protective coatings, primers, paints, inks, and finishes to detail parts and assemblies.
- Operate paint equipment and facilities, following drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.
- Prepare surfaces, apply masking, and verify accuracy using precision measuring tools.
- Rework parts as required and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Document work and communicate any issues to supervisors.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent.
Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills
Team oriented person who has experience in Spray gun operation HVLP
Experience mixing coatings to exact ratios (epoxy, polyurethane, primers)
Knowledge of Film thickness control (mils matter in aerospace)
Experience with surface prep (sanding, solvent wipe, water break test)
Experience with masking for sharp, clean lines
Pay Information
- $27.05 - $44.85
