Standard Job Description

Performs a variety of activities in support of the Metrology/Calibration Lab such as logistics, finance, purchasing and database entries. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources.
Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data. Uses calibration database and other software to compile and generate reports, statistics,
timeliness, correspondence and presentations. Helps in design of processes to enhance workflow. Provides data and information to
others on Cal Lab processes and procedures. Coordinates vendor services for outside vendors.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years related in a technical/production environment
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain accurate records in calibration databases and related systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing clear documentation, correspondence, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of quality management principles (ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent) and the importance of traceability and documentation in a calibration lab setting.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in a technical role
  • Customer service experience in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
  • Experience working with a Metrology Calibration Recall database such as IndySoft
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and take direction from Manager and/or section lead

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
