You will be the Level 4 Electro-Environmental (E&E) Technician for the Field team which is responsible for supporting C-130 aircraft operations worldwide. This position requires frequent domestic and international travel (95%). Home based in Greenville, SC area. Field team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electro-Environmental (E&E) Technician you will be responsible for delivering organizational‑level maintenance and technical support for C‑130 electro‑environmental systems. You will interpret technical data, use diagnostic equipment, and provide guidance to maintain aircraft readiness.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform daily organizational‑level maintenance, repair, replacement, and service of C‑130 electro‑environmental systems.
- Provide technical assistance to personnel for assembly, operation, service repair, and modification of aircraft equipment.
- Investigate, advise on, and report the disposition of equipment difficulties encountered in the field.
- Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and multimeters to diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, respecting cultural differences at host locations during frequent domestic and international travel.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Candidate must also have current active US Passport.
Physical Requirements:
This position may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. Position may also require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 4-6 years E&E experience C-130J aircraft
- Experienced in troubleshooting malfunctions in C-130J electrical system of moderate difficulty at the Operational maintenance level
- Experienced in repairing and replacing C-130J electrical components and wiring to include splicing and terminating wires, cannon plug repairs, harness placement and security.
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, blueprints
- Familiarization with C-130J Technical Data and Job Guides
- Ability and desire to travel 90-95% of the year
-Ability to obtain and maintain USGOV Passport supporting potential future international support requirements
-Final Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills
- 7-10 years experience on C-130J performing current relevant Customer desired modifications.
- A&P License/Certification
- Military Aircraft Maintenance Experience
-Military Service Experience
-Experience executing or installing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO)
-Experience in Depot or Contract Field Team Maintenance Environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $33.37 - $61.92
