This position is with Advanced Development Programs (ADP), also known as the historic Skunk Works. We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating and fielding advanced aircraft and technology. The chosen applicant will be responsible for the overall health and maintenance of a deployed system supporting inter-service interests and Lockheed Martin development and testing. Along with system health, the applicant will provide technical support and customer service to US Forces Korea – primarily the 8th United States Army and 7th Air Force. Support and services will require routine interfacing with military personnel and coordinating exercises, visits, and demonstrations.
Lockheed Martin's DAGGR-2 is an Open Systems Gateway (OSG) developed by Skunk Works and the U.S. Missile Defense Agency to enable secure, real-time sharing of classified data between aircraft and ground stations supporting US and Foreign Partners.
This position requires travel (up to 25%) supporting short notice tasking to include potential worldwide locations. The incumbent must be a self-starter, ability to make timely decisions and willing to learn all facets of the DAGGR system.

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) serves as the central guardian of all information‑technology (IT) and communications assets that enable the host base to conduct day‑to‑day missions, joint exercises, and long‑range strategic initiatives. The position’s most critical priority is to maintain an uninterrupted, round‑the‑clock response posture for all systems and network connectivity. This entails rapid detection and resolution of service‑affecting incidents, continuous health‑monitoring of hardware and virtual environments, and strict adherence to Information Assurance (IA) and Communications Security (COMSEC) policies. The specialist works closely with local base staff, United States Forces Korea (USFK) agencies, and CONUS program management, acting as both a technical troubleshooter and a trusted subject‑matter expert (SME) for the Lockheed Martin team. By assisting with integrating new capabilities, supporting the cyber team’s Authority‑to‑Operate (ATO) effort, and orchestrating exercise participation, the role ensures that the base’s capability remains resilient, secure, and aligned with mission objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
- Bachelors or equivalent experience.
- Must relocate to Osan, Republic of Korea
- Ability to clear and maintain Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements
- Top Secret clearance
- Attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access
- Ability to support flexible hours that align with customer schedule
Desired Skills
- Broad based IT expereince including Windows and Linux OS, databases, networking, cyber security, and systems administration.
- Network troubleshooting and maintenance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
