You will be the Industrial Engineer Senior - Level 3 for the Industrial Engineering Team which is responsible for driving operational excellence across our production and manufacturing facilities.

 

What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for analyzing workflows, enhancing processes, and delivering efficiency improvements that directly boost performance, reduce cost, and increase safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze and design workflows, operation sequences, equipment layouts, and labor utilization to maximize productivity and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Support cost‑control initiatives by conducting detailed studies and recommending actionable solutions.
  • Create and maintain schedule plans to meet monthly customer delivery targets.
  • Lead cross‑functional continuous‑improvement teams, partnering with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality, Safety, Facilities, and other departments.
  • Develop and implement lean‑manufacturing practices to sustain long‑term operational gains.

Further Information About This Opportunity

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  •  The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
  • This position is in Greenville, SC.

 

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering (or a related discipline) and/or 3 years of professional experience as an Industrial Engineer or in support of a manufacturing facility.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables

Desired Skills

  • Experience in analyzing cost and schedule metrics for a manufacturing company
  • Experience developing resource capacity and manpower plans
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience with SAP and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Experience with learning curve application
  • Lean and Six Sigma certifications
  • Aircraft production experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
