Standard Job Description
The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic will be based in Greenville, SC and is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical ground support equipment used in F‑16 operations. Primary duties include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, conducting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system inspections, executing oil changes, fluid checks, and documenting all work through digital tracking systems to ensure traceability and compliance with 6S, QA, and safety standards. The role requires at least 4 years of hands‑on experience in automotive or GSE maintenance, a high school diploma or technical certification, strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, familiarity with digital maintenance logs, and the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams. The candidate must uphold shop safety protocols, maintain an organized workspace, and provide clear technical communication and customer support. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb and working in noisy, outdoor shop environments.

- 4 years of Ground Support or Automotive experience
- Preventive Maintenece and Troubleshooting experience
- High school diploma

- POD's testing experience
- Able to work indepentently and in a team setting
- Fleet maintance experience
Pay Information
Pay rate for this position is $24.90 - $41.54 per hour.
