This position advances Lockheed Martin’s ability to deliver reliable, high performance radar and electronic warfare solutions by creating the automated test software that validates critical RF, digital, analog, and power hardware for our customers and national security missions.
THE WORK
In this role you will:
• Design and develop automated test station software that programs, simulates, and validates RF, digital, analog, and power modules and subsystems.
• Create and maintain test software architectures, integrating C/C++, Java, and LabVIEW components to support production test solutions.
• Conduct research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and related electrical components, ensuring seamless system component integration.
• Produce detailed design documentation and present it to customers and internal teams for review and approval.
• Integrate and validate test software with hardware platforms, troubleshooting issues to achieve mission critical performance.
• Generate costing and proposal data for new business opportunities, aligning technical solutions with customer requirements.
• Implement test automation and measurement solutions, integrating LabVIEW VI’s and software tools to enhance test efficiency.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports to drive continuous improvement of test solutions.
• Apply AI prompting techniques to enhance test automation workflows and accelerate development cycles.
• Leverage MATLAB, RF testing expertise, and Linux/Windows 11 system administration skills to support robust, distributed test environments.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field, with 5 years of professional experience.
• Expereince with test solution software development and system/component integration & test
• Experience working with commercial test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, etc.
• Test automation design and measurement experience or knowledge.
• LabVIEW development
• C/C++ software development
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
