The Work
This position is for a Hardware Engineer Staff role supporting programs in the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) area.
As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will:
• Coach and lead electrical and mechanical engineers
• Interface with Program Manager/Engineering Program Manager
• Ensure project milestones and commitments are met
• Develop hardware systems/subsystems

Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or otherelectrical components. Develops designs for the installation of components and assembliesinto chassis, racks, cabinets,workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other Engineering related discipline
• Experience with mechanical/electrical design and troubleshooting
• Experience working with 3D models and high level of proficiency in electrical schematic interpretation
• Knowledgeable in Hardware Engineering processes and tools such as CREO or SolidWorks or similar tools
• Proficient in Windchill/EPDM
Desired Skills
• Cost Account Management / Earned Value experience
• Proficiency in authoring BOEs, Costing BOMs, and Proposal Process
• Experience with Engineering Change Control Processes
• Working knowledge of Agile terms and methodologies
• Prior Automated Test Equipment/Special Test Equipment experience
• Experience with product development or manufacturing
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
