The Work

As a Hardware IPT Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading electrical engineering development teams of 5 - 20 engineers through the hardware development process of digital subsystems.

  • Acting as technical liaison between Engineering &Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing and milestone planning.
  • Facilitating weekly IPT status meetings and ensuring transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management and customer stakeholders.
  • Delivering clear, concise oral and written updates to leadership, customers and cross functional teams.Overseeing subsystem development, build and test activities to meet schedule, performance and quality requirements.
  • Experience fostering close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional Managers, and customer counterparts.

Basic Qualifications

8+ Years of Relevant Hardware Development Experience

4+ Years in a technical leadership role

Demonstrated experience leading digital design efforts from concept to sustainment

CAM or WPM experience

Desired Skills

Experience in leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards is desired.

Prior experience with digital module or subsystem development is highly desired.

Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development. This includes SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA, and transition to production.

Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management is a plus.

  • $110500.00 - $208344.00
