Standard Job Description

Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Basic Qualifications

- At least 3-7 years of relevant experience in Construction, Project or Design Management including cost estimating, scheduling, financial tracking, statement of work preparation and/or site supervision

- Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of facilities design and construction

- Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Architecture

- 7+ years of Construction or Project Management

- Design experience in architecture or an engineering discipline including facilities renovations, additions or infrastructure

- Experience with ICD-705 SCIF construction

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products

- Strong focus on performance and delivering results with superior customer service

- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and oversee multi-discipline facilities projects

- Proven project management skills and strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work effectively with customers, staff and management at various levels and diverse populations

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
