This position is for a Data Engineer Staff within the Lockheed Martin Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) supporting Space System’s Business Innovation, Transformation and Enterprise Excellence (BITEE) Organization – Data & Analytics COE. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fast-paced data organization where the latest technologies will be developed and applied. We are looking for someone with strong hands on experience in all layers of data integration and analytics to support our various efforts. The ideal candidate has experience and a solid understanding of delivering full-stack data solutions across the entire data processing pipeline. The work location for this position is virtual. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Exhibit a degree of ingenuity, creativity, proactiveness, and resourcefulness when collecting, processing, and making data available for analysis while working within an agile environment - - Collaborate across Business Transformation to strategize and implement common business processes and systems design for Data Warehouse & Analytics - Work through all stages of data pipeline to discover, analyze, model, digest, clean, curate, secure, aggregate, and catalog unorganized & organized data at scale and at speed - Develop solutions across data fabric for interoperability between current and emerging technologies in alignment with Space and Enterprise reference architectures

Delivers full-stack data solutions across the entire data processing pipeline. This relies on systems engineering principles to design and implement solutions that span the data lifecycle to: collect, ingest, process, store, persist, access, and deliver data at scale and at speed. It includes knowledge of local, distributed, and cloud-based technologies; data virtualization and smart caching; and all security and authentication mechanisms required to protect the data.Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis; Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications; Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Maintain data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in SAP HANA native development, including calculation view modeling and performance optimizationSQL scripting, and application lifecycle management
- Experience with structured and unstructured data in relational or NoSQL databases, including data warehouse, hosted on-premise or in the cloud (SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with ETL tools such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, Tableau Prep, Altyrex or equivalents and data modeling experience using tools like Erwin
- Experience with software engineering and building data pipeline automations using GIT & Gitlab
- Experience with ERP, MES, or PLM systems
Desired Skills
· Demonstrated Strong SAP HANA and Data Services hands on knowledge
· Proven SAP Functional ERP knowledge/experience
· Strong Knowledge on Cloud pak for Data (CP4D)
· Hands on ci/cd pipeline using git repository
· Demonstrated process automation experience
· Excellent SQL and Debugging skills
· Experience in Python, Java, Azure will be a plus

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $106600.00 - $198000.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $95900.00 - $178100.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $85300.00 - $158300.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
