Our facility in Highlands Ranch, CO has an immediate opportunity for an entry level 1 Manufacturing Support Team Member/Buy-Part Planner. to join our mission.  The Buy‑Part Planner – is the primary owner of all purchase‑requisition (PR) creation, validation, and lifecycle management for non‑manufactured (buy) parts across the Space portfolio. In this role you will...

 

  • Ensure that requisitions are generated accurately, on‑time, and in alignment with engineering releases, demand forecasts, and inventory policies. 
  • Act as the bridge between Demand Management, Quality, Procurement, and Production.
  • Be responsible for key performance idicators such as ECONs, material master extensions, exception message processing, and expired material maintenance

Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications

  •  2 + years of hands‑on experience in material planning, inventory control, or procurement for a manufacturing/aerospace environment.• Demonstrated experience creating and managing purchase requisitions (PRs) and working with ERP systems (SAP MM/PP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile demand, inventory, and procurement data 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a shift‑based, fast‑pace environment and to support “go‑fast” surge actions when needed.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in business or supply chain management
  • End‑to‑end understanding of demand‑to‑supply processes (forecast, MRP, PR/PO, inventory) • Familiarity with make‑vs‑buy, subcontracting, and central‑procurement routing
  •  Advanced proficiency in SAP MM/PP (PR creation, release, hold handling, ECON workflow)
  • Strong Excel capabilities – pivot tables, advanced formulas, dashboards • Ability to interpret forecast bias, inventory turns, PR‑age, and OTIF metrics • Comfortable with simple statistical methods
  •  Ability to resolve conflicting priorities (e.g., late‑loaded demand vs. inventory constraints) • Comfort making rapid

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $55700.00 - $103400.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
