In this role you will:

• Use systems engineering processes to perform and oversee control aspects of program(s) execution, baseline change management and report metrics.
• Analyze proposed changes of product design or requirements to determine the effect on the overall product and system
• Lead and/or act as voting member on hardware reviews and Physical configuration audits
• Coordinate modification records for management control, including contract modifications
• Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor personnel
• Review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and prepare reports of change effect on overall product
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
• Provide training and guidance to Configuration & Data Management (C&DM) systems/tools or processes
• Perform Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Audits, and Configuration Verification Tasks

Other tasks you may perform include:
• Handling Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) schedules, deliveries and verification in accordance with contract requirements and schedules
• Maintaining program access control for Configuration & Data Management (C&DM) systems/tools
• Preparing data for archival and maintain archive records for retrieval as required
• Maintaining a document number system and providing document numbers as required
• Handling the review and retention of supplier data
• Conducting the configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL
• Perform Configuration Hardware Audits
• Participate in Hardware acceptance Reviews and DD250 preperation

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

• Familiarity in establishing or implementing Systems Engineering processes for new programs, including any of the following Configuration & Data Management (C&DM) elements: Engineering Release Processes, Product Identification and Control Logs, Baseline Change Control, AND/OR EPDM systems networking.

• Experience with Government contracts or subcontract management; including Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL)

• Experienced with PTC Windchill, Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems, or other relevant data management products

• Experience with change control processes and analyzing proposed changes to determine effect on overall product and system including identifying potentially impacted subsystems

• Prior experience acting as a team or project lead and mentoring junior team members

• Adept in Microsoft Office applications, including generating, compiling and analyzing data reports

Desired Skills

• Bachelors in Engineering or similar field

• Experience with one or more of the following: Hardware Acceptance reviews and Physical Configuration Audits, As-Designed/As-Built, Verification/Audit

• Experience with Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL), managing deliverable schedules and performing deliveries to the customer

• Experience working with or reviewing design drawings, CAD models or engineering documentation

• Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE), or CAMEO for System Architecture Modeling

• Demonstrated ability to design, modify and optimize processes for integration of AI technologies

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
