Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics company as an Aircraft Field Support Engineer (FSE) on our Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team! This position will support the C-130J DERCO/DLA Program at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

What You Will Be Doing:

The candidate will act as part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) technical interface to the on-site Customer in resolving issues arising from activities for all matters dealing with the C-130 aircraft. The preferred candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Avionics Systems and Airframe Powerplants and General (APG).

Provides a level of postsales support and service to customer sites and remote sites at a high-tech level that cannot be rendered by the basic level of field hardware and systems software service. Employee is usually introduced to the customer site when the nature of equipment service required is beyond the skill level possessed by the basic field/customer service engineer.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
Must be a United States Citizen. Must possess an interim clearance prior to starting with the ability to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Minimum 3 years C-130 aircraft maintenance experience. Will accept any combination of Avionics and APG experience.

Desired Skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

• Logistical experience.

• Previous Field Support Engineer (FSE) experience.

• Fault Isolation and problem analysis experience.

• Technical report writing skills.

• Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation.

• Experience with Engineering tools.

• Airframe & Power plant (A&P) license.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
