Standard Job Description

Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Configuration Management Analyst for our site in Huntsville, Alabama.
As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will:
• Ensure program compliance to CDM requirements for baseline control, document control and document release 
• Coordinate modification records for baseline control. 
• Support and process program design manufacturing and change management product information using the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) workflow program
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other engineering support personnel.
• Ensure that customer changes are implemented and review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
• Assign document and drawing identifiers.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for tracking changes to ensure we will always have Truth, Trust, and Traceability (T3).

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of how engineering projects are planned, executed, and reviewed.  
• Bachelors degree in technical, engineering, business, or a related degree.   
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Confluence and/or SharePoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Configuration Management requirements/processes/procedures, and/or plans 
  • PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (PDM) systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new software tools and processes
  • Active Secret (or above) security clearance
  • Ability to build solid relationships with team members
  • Focused attention to detail to ensure required data attributes are accurate and complete, and that workflow processes are executed thoroughly
  • Ability to intermittently flex work hours to support Program schedules
  • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $49500.00 - $91900.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
