Our Enterprise Performance organization seeks an Sr Stafff, Integrated Program Planner to join our mission in Huntsville, AL Strategic Missile Defense Programs (SMD) suppporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Program. In this role you will support the execution efforts across multiple sites and other SMD programs as required. For your assigned component, you will interface with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management. You will also be responsible for developing compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) which will reflect the accurate and detailed contractual scope and resources to execute the program efforts.

In this role, you will...

1) Support development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) including ensuring integration between the IMS and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP)
2) Maintain schedule integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule and supplemental schedules
3) Perform critical path and schedule risk analyses 
4) Provide planning support to Production Operations and Master Program Scheduler as part of monthly management rhythms. Ensure Schedule Accuracy
5) Perform schedule integrity checks 
6) Generate and deliver IMS reports and metrics 
7) Present schedule-related information to internal and external customers
8) Ensure compliance with LM Corporate Program Performance Management and Program Planning policies and practices
9) Support all phases of the proposal through submittal to include SOW, CWBS, and IMP traces to tasks

Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of program planning experience

  • Strong experience with a program planning tool (e.g. Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project, or a comparable program/project planning tool)

  • Experience developing an integrated master schedule with IMP, SOW and WBS traceability 

  • Experience with DCMA DECM or schedule compliance metrics
  • Experience resource loading schedule and Earned Value Management
  • Experience briefing internal and external customers on complex issues
  • Due to programs being supported, must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Skills

• Active Secret security clearance
• 13+ years of experience in planning or program management related discipline
• Exposure to Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc)
• Critical Path Scheduling methodology
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
• Integrated Master Plan (IMP) knowledge
• Earned Value Management
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) knowledge
• Advanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables and VBA
• Exposure to Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
