In this position the employee will directly report to the THAAD Solution Train Engineer (STE) and provide support with several activities related to an Agile environment including: 

  • Support the team in the generation Agile metrics for preparation to brief to Sr. leadership
  • Build tools to support the STE and the Release Train Engineers
  • Coordinate and plan Solution Train Activity Report meetings with customer
  • Support PI planning activities
  • Manage demo schedule and attendee list; distribute post‑demo packages to the Technical Project Office (TPO) using SIPR‑required transfers.
  • Maintain the demo schedule page with contacts, notes, and relevant details.
  • Support the THAAD Weapon Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Senior management team with various activities.
  • Serve as a Data Transfer Agent (DTA).

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science, Systems Engineering).
  • Minimum 1 year of program support experience on different engineering projects, preferably within defense or aerospace environments.
  • Knowledge or experience of Python scripting.  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. 

Desired Skills

  • Masters degree in a STEM related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with secure (SIPR) networks and data handling procedures.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Experience with Python scripting.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
