What does this role look like?
- This is for a Subcontract Administrator that supports the end‑to‑end administration subcontracts supporting the Space Based Interceptor Program.
- Supply chain lead in the fast-paced, strategic environment, responsible for delivering significant Enterprise value by driving commonality, efficiency, and affordability.
In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
- Be responsible for managing the daily business rhythm of the program Subcontract Management Team (SMT), managing action items, update routine presentations, administer team meetings, mantaining business tools, update resource planning, mantaining team metrics, etc.
- Serves as the primary liaison between external suppliers, while being an internal POC for program teams, engineering, legal/compliance and finance ensuring timely, compliant, and value driven subcontract execution.
- Ensures that all subcontract documents are created, reviewed, approved, executed, and maintained in compliance with company policy, federal acquisition regulations, and customer contractual requirements.
- Will prepare subcontractor Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, conducts bidders' list to ensure competitive outreach, develops evaluation criteria, and analyzes and evaluates proposals to determine best-value subcontractor for Program.
- Includes all execution tasks supporting negotiating subcontract terms and conditions and price, supporting all authorization to proceed (ATP) tasks for multiple contract types through hardware delivery.
- Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Basic Qualifications
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience / combined education

Professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management)
- Proficient with MS Offce tools (Office, Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Please note: No clearance is required to apply, nor prior to start.
Desired Skills
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
- Business acumen
- Organized and able to coordinate team business rhythm
- LM P2P and/or SAP experience
- Negotiations skills
- Able to adapt to change quickly
- Data analytics
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning software
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Procedures and government contracting.
- Posses excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
