What does this role look like?
Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Lockheed Martin Space has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Subcontracts Administrator supporting NGI Supply Chain operations.
This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
• Managing full contract lifecycle for subcontracts and purchase orders across all contract types (Fixed-Price, Cost-Reimbursement, Time and Material subcontracts).
• Providing technical, programmatic, and subcontract expertise including day-to-day management and execution of required actions.
• Ensuring that the program quality and mission success requirements and the suppliers are managed to the highest performance standards and that they are meeting their commitments and requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with all appropriate prime contract flow downs and being responsible for new business requirements, including RFP's to subs, technical evaluations, and Basis of Estimate requirements through negotiations and definitization of applicable subcontracts.
• Overseeing the negotiation and coordination of additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Ensuring all contractual, schedule and technical requirements are satisfied for program support actions as needed.
• Engaging in Supply Chain strategy for the overall Strategic and Missile Defense mission area.
Basic Qualifications
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 4 years of professional experience.
- Previous Professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e. Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiations, Proposals).
- You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DOD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

- Masters Degree preferred
- Posses strong business acumen and ability to multi-task
- Proficeint in Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Able to adapt to change quickly
- Posses Price Analysis / Cost Analysis Experience
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement / purchasing systems
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition (FAR) procedures and government contracting
- Posesse effective team building skills
- Demonstrated execption communication skills, including writtten, verbal and presentation/briefings. Ability to effectively communicate to program leaders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
