This position is for a System Engineer to support the LRHW System Engineering, Integration & Test organization. You will help design, develop, and innovate technical solutions for soldier utilized ground systems.

This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, other system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives.
Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Engineer for a position in Huntsville, AL.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience and full knowledge of processes in one or more of the following areas:
- Trade Studies
- Systems Engineering approach and processes
- Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation
- Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs)
- Performing System Integration
- Support to major reviews
- Writing Specifications
- Working Knowledge of Cameo/ Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience in an integrated team, covering the full Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle.
- Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, Alabama
- Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship
Desired Skills
- Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
- Knowledge and application of systems engineering processes across the full product life cycle (to include proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and field support)
- CONOPS or Architecture Development
- Familiarity with DOORs
- Support and conduct formal and informal engineering technical reviews
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leaders and translate complex topics into actionable recommendations
- Active or Current Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship Required
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
