Standard Job Description
We are seeking an experienced System Integration & Test Engineer (IC3) to support the Ground Production Operations team on the LRHW program. This individual will serve as the primary engineering liaison between the production operations team and the hardware engineering organization. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that production activities are executed efficiently, issues on the production floor are rapidly resolved, and technical challenges are properly escalated to the engineering team when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the engineering point of contact for the Ground Production Operations team.
- Provide real-time engineering support to the production floor, ensuring continuity of manufacturing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system integration, test, assembly, and hardware handling.
- Review nonconformances, support root-cause investigations, and collaborate on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality, and test teams to address technical challenges.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the hardware engineering team with clear technical documentation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, test requirements, and configuration baselines to support production operations.
- Maintain strong awareness of system configuration, change activity, and the impact of engineering updates on production.
- Support integration and test procedure updates, work instructions, and production tooling evaluations when required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in production operations.
- Hands-on experience supporting production or manufacturing environments.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering documentation and troubleshoot hardware/system-level issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to balance priorities, manage floor support tasks, and maintain composure in high-tempo environments.
- US Citizen with ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting production or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with MRP systems, demand planning tools, or supply chain workflows.
- Understanding of configuration management practices.
- Hands-on experience supporting hardware integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues using structured problem-solving approaches.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
