You will be the IT Program Staff for the Sensors and Global Sustainment (S&GS) team. Our team is responsible for delivering integrated IT solutions that enable mission‑critical programs within Missiles & Fire Control.

What You Will Be Doing
As the IT Program Staff you will be responsible for coordinating all IT deliverables across program and project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation while serving as the CIO’s direct extension.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain program/project plans, budgets, and staffing structures.
  • Coordinate with security, acquisition, and engineering stakeholders for classified and unclassified issues.
  • Provide status reporting and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
  • Promote enterprise IT services and drive adoption of best practices.
  • Support hands‑on technical development when program needs dictate.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
  • 5 + years of experience in a rapid change technical environment
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements and functional specifications.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with status reporting, risk tracking, and roadmap development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate collaboration across multiple departments and senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with IT governance, demand/intake processes, and cross directorate coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, mission critical environment and manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Ability to travel domestic and/or international

Desired Skills

  • Systems architecture and integration expertise (e.g., model based engineering, data fusion platforms)
  • Advanced project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, OpenPlan) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Change management frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR) and user adoption strategies
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities across technical and business teams
  • Ability to craft clear, persuasive communications (presentations, executive briefs, PR style messages)
  • Ability to build positive relationships with the customers.
  • Experience with technology road mapping and long term vision planning (1-3 year horizons)
  • Knowledge of defense IT standards, cybersecurity and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) for status reporting
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of driving cross directorate

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
