THE WORK
- Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
- Uses various measuring devices. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications
- Background in the manufacturing of printed circuit card assemblies of various size and complexity.
- Must have minimum of 2 years prior quality inspection experience relating to solder, bonding and conformal coating.
- Ability to effectively track multiple high volume part numbers thru final inspection operation to ensure completions in support of weekly goal requirments.
- Strong understanding of solder and conformal coating acceptance criteria IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- Ability to navigation the standard(s) and make accept/reject decisions based on IPC criteria.
- This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills
- Must have minimum 3 years of experience performing visual inspections of solder, min 2 years bonding and conformal coating
- Ability to perform accurate measurement verifications thru proper use of various devices (i.e. dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc).
- Prior experience in using the Solumina manufacturing execution system.
- Detail-oriented, quality minded and proficient interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, work instructions
- IPC-A-610 Certified Specialist
- IPC-J-STD-001 Certified Specialist
- A team player with strong verbal and written communications, willingness to support and contribute to team goals.
- Detail-oriented, quality minded and proficient in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
- Proficient with Personal Computers and ability to navigation between multiple applications and procedures.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
