This leadership position is within the Enterprise Performance organization as the Program Planning & Integration Associate Manager supporting a diverse portfolio within the Advanced Development Programs (ADP).

 

What is Program Planning to Lockheed Martin?
Integral to Lockheed Martin's Program Management & Enterprise Performance, it organizes tasks for mission success, scheduling design, development, and sustainability of products. It breaks down products into tasks, sets sequences & durations, ensuring on-time, in-budget, quality outcomes. Aeronautical program planning is an exciting process that combines creativity, science, and technology to create amazing machines that enable humans to explore and travel in the air and beyond!

 

Key Duties

• Provides daily leadership and direction to a team of Integrated Program Planners

• Cultivate relationships across functional teams engaged across the program life cycle

• Partner with PP&I leadership and program management to direct all phases of program planning

• Drive collaboration across people, processes, and tools in alignment with 1LMX initiatives.

• Serve as a liaison between internal and external Stakeholders and Customers.

• Lead and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Program Planning & Integration.

• Serve as primary POC to provide robust analysis and integrated program planning support

 

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and must have an interim secret to start.

 

A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

Basic Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree
•Experience with Microsoft Office applications
•Experiences with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost / Schedule Integration
•Experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs
•Experience presenting to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders
•Previous experience with Deltek OpenPlan, Primavera, Microsoft Project, or a similar tool

Desired Skills

•Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, Business Administration

• Knowledge of DID 81861 - Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR)

• Experience working within a Special Access environment

• Proposal Experience

• Experience to succinctly communicate with leadership and customers

• Experience presenting at program reviews (PMR, IBR, INAR)

• Demonstrated influencing and relationship management skills

• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00
