Provides a level of post sales support and service to customer sites and remote sites at a high-tech level that cannot be rendered by the basic level of field hardware and systems software service. Employee is usually introduced to the customer site when the nature of equipment service required is beyond the skill level possessed by the basic field/customer service engineer.

The selected candidate for this position will serve in a project leadership role functioning as the prime technical point of contact for the Mid-Range Capability (MRC) System defined as Battery 1. You will function as the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Engineering Authority within the CLS Team supporting the MRC. You will also conduct maintenance, supply, hardware, and software installation/upgrade and provide support to the MRC unit. Additionally, you will provide New Equipment Training (NET) as well as any required Delta training to the unit. You will also perform the following as part of daily duties: Lead the MRC CLS Team for Battery 1 requiring excellent customer communications skills to successfully interface with U.S. Army leadership, other external customers associated with the MRC program including those supporting the deployed unit, and with LM Program stakeholders. This is a working technical lead position requiring hands-on support of the MRC system including; Performing all maintenance actions on all equipment. Managing maintenance through the Gold-ESP program or like system, and work order system at the work location supporting the US Army in managing MRC maintenance and sustainment programs. Installing weapon system hardware, software and firmware upgrades, and modifications. The permanent work location for this position is Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM), Tacoma, Washington. You will serve as a liaison and critical source of support to the home station CLS Team and work closely with Lockheed Martin MRC Logistics Integrated Product Team lead(s). This position is a deployable position for long/short term assignments Outside Continental United States (OCONUS), therefore you must be willing, fully capable, and qualified for OCONUS deployment.
Basic Qualifications
-Extensive technical expertise of Mid-Range Capability Systems, and full knowledge of other related disciplines that may affect internal/external impacts to the functionality and operations of MRC Systems to include fault isolation, diagnostics, remove and replace of line replaceable units (LRUs), repair of electrical / hydraulic / mechanical systems, and operational experience for each crew position.
-Candidate must be willing and able to deploy to with the MRC unit(s) to various geographical areas worldwide, including travel assignments to elevated risk locations, and may be required to take post-offer, pre-deployment physicals to determine eligibilities and capabilities as required and defined by government contract.
-Candidate must possess demonstrated experience working with the U.S. Army customers assigned to MRC functions and be able to maintain a good working relationships.
-A Secret clearance is required prior to start. Additionally, candidate must obtain a passport within the first 60 days of employment.
Desired Skills
-Technical engineering degree and / or military background.
-Prior experience as a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Crewmember (MOS 13M), MLRS Repairer (94P), Patriot Launching Station Enhanced Operator Maintainer (MOS 14T), or a PATRIOT Fire Control Enhanced --Operator/Maintainer (MOS 14E).
-Knowledge of military supply systems.
-Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
