The Janitor Maintenance Sr maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition. Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors; removing refuse; polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings; providing janitorial supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, or rest rooms.

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior commercial cleaning or janitorial experience.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended shifts.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 30 pounds (such as trash bins, equipment, and supplies).
  • Capacity to climb ladders, reach high areas, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Basic understanding of safe chemical handling, mixing, and the use of standard cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, and extractors).

Desired Skills

  • Experience and/or certification in Clean Room environments.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety rules and hazard disposal (such as OSHA or biohazard guidelines).
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Availability of working overtime - i.e. weekends.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $35600.00 - $66000.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
