Our facility at Kennedy Space Center on the Space Coast in Florida has an immediate opportunity for a LEVEL 3 Manufacturing Support Team Member/Make Part Planner to join our mission. In this role you will be responsible for the Make Parts Planning of all the materials in an assigned MRP Code/End item which will include activities as the following:
• Production order release, monitoring, and closure
• Facilitation of kit creation and delivery
• Material Master creation and management• Manufacturing Bill of Material review
• Monitoring and recording of material usage
* Demand Loading Analysis with Make/Buy Determination
* KPI Metrics Analysis and Corrections
• Exception message monitoring and control

Standard Job Description:
Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
Basic Qualifications
3-4 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / Material Resource Planning
Experienced working in an ERP/MRP environment (SAP)
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
Experience with NASA / DOD / FAR Requirements
Due to program and work location requirements, must be a United States citizen
Desired Skills
Bachelor’s degree
4+ years of prior Supply Chain or Shop Floor Support experience in a technical manufacturing environment (e.g. Aerospace, Aeronautics) Experience in SAP
Familiar With Engineering Drawings and Bill of Materials
Experience in Shipping and Contract Transfers of Materials for NASA / DOD
Knowledgeable with FAR Requirements
Knowledgeable with OSHA Requirements
Experience with manufacturing Defense products
Understanding of WIP materials / Production Orders and provide status of progress
APICS/ASCM certification(s)
Green Belt certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
