Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll help translate engineering designs into reliable, repeatable manufacturing processes for complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.

You’ll collaborate with design engineering, production, quality, and operations to improve processes, quality, efficiency, and delivery. You’ll have the opportunity to apply engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges while developing your expertise in aerospace and defense manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
• Provide producibility feedback to design engineering throughout development and production.
• Create and maintain product flow diagrams, work instructions, and operating instructions.
• Evaluate nonconforming hardware and contribute to quality investigations and process improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement improvements and increase efficiency.
• Partner with Production Control to prioritize work and support delivery schedules.
• Analyze production performance data and support Quality Assurance with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support the development and production of advanced defense systems.

Work Environment

• Location: On-site in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
• Team: Collaborative manufacturing and engineering environment working closely with production, test, engineering, quality, and operations teams.
• Schedule: 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off; occasional weekend or off-hours support may be required based on production needs.
• Travel: Travel is not a regular requirement of this position; occasional travel may be required based on business or program needs.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following minimum qualifications. We encourage candidates to apply if they have transferable experience or skills that demonstrate their ability to perform the work:

• Demonstrated experience with mechanical and/or electromechanical assemblies and related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions, product flow diagrams, and operating instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment and collaborating with production teams to identify and resolve issues and improve processes.
• Ability to use production information and data to support problem solving, process improvement, or quality investigations.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret-level security clearance or higher.

Desired Skills
