Role Overview

Join our team as a Multifunctional Manufacturing Supervisor in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. You will lead a multi-disciplined manufacturing team supporting component manufacturing, disassembly, assembly, and materials activities. The role is responsible for daily production execution, workforce coordination, continuous improvement, and performance against cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

 

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplined manufacturing workforce.
  • Prioritize production orders and assign daily work.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities are appropriately resourced.
  • Manage work-in-process (WIP) and address obstacles affecting production flow.
  • Monitor manufacturing and test performance against cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement and longer-term manufacturing strategies.
  • Assess technician skills and support cross-training and workforce development.
  • Support employee performance evaluations and development.
  • Identify and address unsafe conditions to support a safe work environment.
  • Communicate production priorities, performance, issues, and requirements with employees, managers, customers, and cross-functional organizations.
  • Ensure employees follow established core and program-specific processes.
  • Use manufacturing data to assess performance and support operational decisions.

 

Work Environment

The role works with manufacturing and test leadership, program leadership, functional organizations, support personnel, employees, and customers as needed to support production requirements.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience leading or coordinating manufacturing personnel in a production environment.
  • Experience assigning work and managing production priorities.
  • Experience working toward manufacturing cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Experience applying lean manufacturing or production-flow principles.
  • Ability to interpret and apply procedures, work instructions, specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience analyzing manufacturing or production data to assess performance and support decisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow and reinforce established safety, manufacturing, quality, and program-specific processes.

Desired Skills

Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:

  • Continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience communicating with internal or external customers, including the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
  • Performance Management Team (PMT) or 6S experience.
  • Experience with electrical or mechanical assembly and/or automated equipment.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Green Belt certification.
  • Experience communicating leadership or factory initiatives to manufacturing teams.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
