Standard Job Description

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total software system product to include: concept, requirement definition, design, test, operation, and maintenance. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in science and technology related programs such as:
Computer Science
Systems Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Computer Engineering
Information Technology/Information Science and Technology
Electrical Engineering
Computer Engineering
Information Technology/Information Science and Technology
Cyber Security
Physics
Mathematics
Management Information Systems Or Similar

Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

Experience in at least one of these skill areas: System software & scripting development, softwareprogramming, system analysis & design, software design & development, software integration & test

Knowledge of basic system engineering practices such as coding standards, unit testing, configurationmanagement, database, system administration, requirement development

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Knowledge of Agile principles

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
