Role Overview

As a Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will plan and execute integration and test activities for Strategic Weapon Systems programs.

You will turn technical and customer requirements into practical test solutions, integrate components and subsystems, evaluate system performance, identify and document discrepancies, and verify that corrective actions resolve identified issues.

This role connects systems engineering, integration, testing, and program execution to help deliver reliable system performance.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system and subsystem integration and test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Integrate and test in-house-developed, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) components, elements, subsystems, and systems.
• Translate customer and contractual requirements into test solutions that account for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Establish functional and technical specifications and standards needed for integration and testing.
• Identify and resolve hardware/software interface issues.
• Define test inputs and outputs and support end-to-end system or subsystem integration.
• Review and derive requirements related to system and subsystem testability.
• Coordinate testing activities with program teams and other technical organizations.
• Analyze test results and prepare system- or subsystem-level evaluation reports that verify and validate performance.
• Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to verify and validate software, component, subsystem, and system fixes.

Work Environment

• You will work with engineering, program, and other technical organizations supporting Strategic Weapon Systems programs.
• The role requires the ability to work extended hours, alternate/off-shifts, and weekends when required by program needs. Occasional travel may also be required based on business or program needs.
• U.S. citizenship is required. An Interim Secret security clearance is required to start, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience performing system- or subsystem-level integration and testing, including developing or executing test plans, procedures, or related test activities.
• Experience analyzing and documenting test results and resolving or verifying discrepancies.
• U.S. citizenship with an Interim Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours, alternate/off-shifts, and weekends as required by program needs.

Desired Skills

Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree or 1+ year with a master's degree.
• Current Lockheed Martin Certified Test Conductor (CTC) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Experience in defense electronics or other complex, highly regulated technical environments.
• Experience with RF subsystems and hardware, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, microwave components, mixers, switches, and frequency-generation or frequency-conversion circuits.
• Knowledge of engineering test processes focused on error prevention, safety, controls logic, data acquisition, and instrumentation.
• Experience integrating lab, ground, or flight hardware systems and/or conducting flight testing of missiles, launch vehicles, spacecraft, or aircraft.
• Experience integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment and systems, troubleshooting mechanical/electronic issues, and using Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• Knowledge of Test and Measurement Equipment (T&ME) and applicable test techniques.
• Experience integrating shipboard systems and equipment.
• Experience working collaboratively across engineering and program organizations, including occasional alternate shifts and travel.
