Lockheed Martin is seeking a dynamic, action oriented executive level administrative assistant to support and represent the Ignite Vice President and organization. This role will help drive the organizational vision to drive innovation at speed by supporting the team maturing emerging technologies, reducing risk, and accelerating insertion into core business and growth areas through rapid prototyping, strategic partnerships, and advanced research. This executive administrative assistant position will provide direct administrative support to the Ignite VP and selected directors. The ideal candidate requires executive presence, proactive communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, detail driven environment while interacting professionally with senior leadership. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to perform a wide range of administrative duties and make a real impact by performing such tasks including, but not limited to:
• Executive Calendar Management –
Coordinate meetings with LM Space Executive Level Team (ELT) members, Corporate Executives and Senior Customers (working closely with Line-of-Business Vice Presidents, Mission Strategy & Advanced Capability (MSAC) Executives, and Government Affairs with scheduling, security, briefing content, etc. Thus, requiring a high degree of executive engagement, etiquette, protocols and real-time agility.
Maintain prioritize and protect the VP’s calendar; schedule internal/external meetings, briefings, and off‑site events; coordinate multi‑time‑zone conference calls; support and work cross-functionally to meet important business meetings and commitments.
• Travel & Expense Coordination –
Arrange domestic travel; process Concur expense reports; reconcile billing for the VP and
supported directors.
• Collaboration –
Partner closely with communications, the technical assistant and human resources to execute on top priority items and strategies.
• Stakeholder Liaison –
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal leaders, external customers, and vendors; route inquiries, provide status updates, and maintain confidentiality.
• Meeting & Event Logistics –
Reserve rooms, configure audiovisual equipment, manage catering, and create and support meetings (i.e. agendas, briefing materials, record action items, coordinating badged accesses, etc.).
• Travel –
May require up to 10% of travel to various locations outside of the Denver area to
support events such as all-hands, off-sites, skiplevels, etc.
• Special Projects –
May be asked to support special projects or assignments beneficial to the organization.
• Valued Team Member –
Expected to participate, give and receive feedback, and add input and perspective to meetings and discussions
This role will involve initiative, diplomacy, agility, discretion and judgment in performing daily job duties and responsibilities. Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma
• 8 + years of executive‑level administrative support (VP or Director‑level)
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, apply critical‑thinking, and meet tight deadlines with zero error output
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate events (e.g., small and large multi-discipline group
meetings and conferences, teleconferences, and/or video conferences)
• Experience managing travel arrangements and completing timely expense reports
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a secret level clearance
Desired Skills
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex international travel and multi‑currency
expense reporting
• Excellent organization, attention‑to‑detail, and proactive problem‑solving; comfortable receiving and delivering direct feedback
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion
• Experience supporting aerospace/defense‑industry executives preferred
• Effective interpersonal skills; ability to build collaborative relationships across functional
teams
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of providing executive presence and
interacting with senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures, expense reporting, time keeping system, virtual meeting processes and policies
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81400.00 - $151200.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
