Standard Job Description

Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Basic Qualifications

 

• Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.

• Active or Current Secret Security Clearance

• Eligibility to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

  • Experience on aerospace or defense programs (DoD, NASA, etc.)
  • Desire to continually learn, ambition to proactively address challenges, and aspiration to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a variety of audiences.
  • Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers.
  • Proficient with using the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve.
  • Exposure to project management tools (MS Project, Microsoft Excel, Primavera, Jira)
  • Active or Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $54200.00 - $100600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
