Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer. In this role, you will be tasked with GN&C analysis, modeling & simulation development, and performance verification associated with advance missile weapon designs. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of dynamic modeling of aerospace systems, control system analysis, and software/analysis tool DevOps. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
- BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related
discipline focusing on control system design and
analysis
- Experience with simulation and programming
tools such as Matlab/Simulink, C++, Python, or
others
Desired Skills
- Interest in working on a hypersonic missile or
strategic weapon system program
- Past professional work experience in
engineering discipline through internships or
cooperative work programs
- Experience with Software Configuration
Management
- Experience with Guidance, Navigation, and
Control of aerospace systems; Algorithm/Software development, analysis,
Modeling & Simulation, or Integration & Test
- Experience with Agile Development processes
and framework
- Possess an Active DoD Secret Security

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75400.00 - $140000.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
