Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for a level 4 Manufacturing Planning Manager to join our mission. This role is based out of our Mechanical Manufacturing Center (MMC). 

 

Supports production, program, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of planning and schedule management in support of production planning and execution. Collaborates with program management, senior management, prod ops, manufacturing and industrial engineering to understand production spans and capacity. Provides leadership to production planning team of 6 to 8 schedulers and ensures: planning techniques are in place to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline and to perform schedule risk assessments; time-phased predictive analyses, critical path verification and schedule risk assessments are performed and coordinated; performance and health metrics analyses are utilized to drive actions resulting in improved performance. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have 4-8 years of prior experience in manufacturing, operations, scheduling and or logistics.

•  Experience with production scheduling, capacity and critical path analysis, and material control in a manufacturing/operations/logistics environment.

• Experience using a scheduling tool such as Microsoft Project, Oracle, Primavera, etc.

• Experience using ERP systems

• Experience utilizing Excel to interpret data and drive action

• Prior experience leading a team 

• Experience developing and leading projects

• Experience with MS Office suite

• Experience delivering presentations to senior leadership

• Due to work location requirements and programs being supported, U.S. citizenship is required

Desired Skills

• Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing operations.

• Experience managing material masters, BOM’s, EOQ’s and network requirements for manufacturability

• Ability to build and maintain a strong network or utilize their knowledge or experiences to influence solutions that benefits business partners

• Analytical skills to establish, maintain and interpret key metrics to drive manufacturing processes

• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve material and scheduling challenges

• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision

• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
