Our team in Littleton, CO seeks a Program Planning Manager to support the CPS program within the Space and Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business that will have the size and scope to offer valuable career development experiences. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will….

  • Partner with Program & Senior Management and direct all phases of Program Planning & Integration from inception through completion
  • Subject Matter Expert" in Developing, statusing and analyzing complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in sufficient detail to monitor progress.
  • Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Use critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis and problem resolution
  • Perform independent schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning
  • Develop/maintain Earned Value Management System metrics and provide monthly status and analysis in conjunction with Program Finance and CAMs
  • Interface with a variety of program functional organizations such as Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Subcontract Management, Business Management and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate customer requirements into the program baseline
  • Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule
  • Mentor junior planners on the team, building “bench strength” and advancing the quality of the team
  • Serve as liaison by maintaining, publishing, presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering

 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of 13-15 years of over all work experience in a planning capacity (MRP, CAM, Project Management)

• 6-10 years of program planning experience

• Advanced skills with a scheduling tool such as Open Plan Professional, MS Project, Primavera or comparable scheduling tool (such as @Risk, Milestones Professional, OnePager Pro, Acumen, OPDEC)

• Advanced experience creating and maintaining Integrated Schedules

• Advanced experience conducting schedule integrity checks, critical path analyses, and work around plans

• Previous leadership experience, formal or informal.

• Previous audit experience

• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Skills

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
  • 15+ years of program planning experience
  •  Advanced skills with Open Plan or MS Project
  • Prior CPS Experience
  • Advanced experience with coordinating engineering and manufacturing for accurate forecast alignment and vertical integration.
  • Advanced Earned Value Management experience
  • Advanced Experience with DCMA Audits
  • Advanced Experience with IBR's
  • Advanced Experience with DDM analysis and Implementation
  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $123400.00 - $229200.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
