Standard Job Description

The Asset Specialist Senior perform all assigned tasks necessary to support Asset Management customer requirements and Production Support Services based on demonstrated ability and certification skills. Tasks

may include, but are not limited to material/equipment accountability and control requirements, the primary and secondary receipt, storage, issuing, movement, expediting and maintenance of inventory, material, supplies, tools, and equipment. Process tools and equipment for the Metrology Laboratory. Maintain inventory accuracy of stockroom and work-in-process for issuing materials, components, and purchased and fabricated parts

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance. U.S Citizenship is required.

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• 3 or more years of inventory and equipment accountability experience.
• Experience operating and interfacing with a variety of material systems.

• Able to adapt to change and participate in process improvements with a focus on enhancing material and equipment control.

•Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs., stand for 9 hours per day, operate material handling equipment i.e. tran-stacker, reach trucks, powered aerial lift devices, pallet jacks, drive a van or truck and climb up and down ladders and stairs.
• Must be willing and able to work alternate shifts, non-standard work schedules, and extended hours as required.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Desired Skills

• Currently possess DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to operate handheld scanners
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient using SAP/ERP systems
• Familiar with manufacturing and testing operations.
• Proficient in equipment calibration recall processes, as well as tooling applications

Pay Information 

  • $26.00 - $42.33
