Lockheed Martin Space seeks a Project Engineer to support the FBM program as an onsite Operations Lead integrated into the manufacturing center. Based out of Littleton, CO, you will interface daily with the manufacturing floor to communicate program priorities, identify floor conflicts and factors impacting schedules.  This job requires cross functional communication between the manufacturing floor, onsite Quality Engineering, Test Engineering, and Planning.

As our FBM Program Production Operations Lead, you will...

• Ensure the manufacturing center has the resources needed from the program to be successful in meeting both cost and schedule commitments

• Daily and weekly, provide status to FBM Program Operations Management (POM) on the progress to delivery schedule and potential manufacturing impacts

• Interface directly with Waterton Campus Mechanical Manufacturing Center leadership and finance to evaluate cost impacts

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working in or around manufacturing production centers
  • Experience interfacing with Manufacturing, Quality, Administrative, and/or Management Personnel
  • Experience presenting to leadership
  • Bachelors degree in technical or engineering field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Desired Skills

  • Experience on FBM program
  • Technical experience related to FBM machined electronic packaging
  • Demonstrated experience articulating complex issues to peers and manufacturing management
  • Experience with MS project, Sharepoint, Tableau, SAP
  • Active security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
