Standard Job Description

The candidates for this position will serve as the Deputy to the Risk Manager on a multi-dimensional and complex classified portfolio, reporting directly to Program Management. The positions are based in Palmdale, CA and Marietta, GA. These individuals will be responsible for proactively supporting risk and opportunity management activities across the portfolio and will provide data, analysis, and recommendations to Program Management, Chief Engineering, and Business Management. This includes driving active risk management with the risk owners, ensuring mitigation plans are robust and on track, and establishing metrics to track overall performance tracking in alignment with Cost/EAC and Schedule/SRA. The candidate will assist with coordination and execution of internal and external risk and opportunity boards. This includes supporting the business rhythm, ensuring the data is current, briefing material is adequately prepared, the right stakeholders are present, and resulting actions are tracked and driven to completion. The candidate will support maintenance of the program Risk and Opportunity Plan (ROMP) and the risk and opportunity data repository. The candidate will also work with all IPTs to develop and support their risk and opportunity management processes and tempo.

Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work across functional boundaries, and strong communication skills are a must.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in program execution
  • Experience with program transition and/or start up
  • Experience in project and/or program management
  • Experience with risk and opportunity management
  • Active Secret Clearance

• Experience in Cost/Schedule Management and Performance Excellence
• Experience working in complex matrixed environments across multiple sites

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
