In this exciting role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Interpret specification and requirements documents to write test procedures for the functional and environmental testing of Engineering, Flight, and Qualification Hardware.
• Obtain Certified Test Conductor (CTC) training to become certified to perform functional and environmental tests as the Person In Charge (PIC).
• Support Subsystem Level test through environmental testing in primarily thermal and thermal vacuum environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain test equipment and test software.
• Collaborate with engineering to review and validate test data, identifying and confirming anomalies or passing data.
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Familiar with RF or microwave hardware
- Experience with system integration, mechanical/electronic troubleshooting and use of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Test & Integration
- Ability to obtain DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field preferred). In lieu of degree/education, relevant experience will also be considered or may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the latest Test and Measurement Equipment (T&ME) and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborativeteam environment with occasional alternate shift
- Experience with test automation (SCPI commands, LabVIEW)
- Current LM Certified Test Conductor (CTC) certification or equivalent
- Working knowledge and experience with Automation Framework
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
