The CPS TSWS team in Deer Creek, Colorado is in search of a Systems Engineer

In this role, you will:
• Work directly with IPT/Segment leads, and subcontractors to help define Requirements and Verification Baseline; Provide technical expertise to design maturity milestone reviews
• Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders
• Support the System Engineering and Product Team lead in planning and execution of work scope and Program execution
• This position is located primarily out of our Littleton, CO locations but will also include occasional travel to customer, subcontractor and operation sites.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience with one or more of the following Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions:

  1. System trade studies and/or System modeling.
  2. Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
  3. System Integration, Test and/or Verification.
  4. Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies.
  5. Design reviews.

• Ability to travel
• U.S. citizenship and the eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Skills

• Degree in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change
• Excellent team work, organizational, and communication skills and be capable of resolving problems across multidisciplinary groups
• Active or Current Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
• Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering practices and implementation
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence, DOORS, Cameo, and Microsoft Suite 365
• Experience working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00
